The Company
The Brightstar Group is a UK-based specialist finance business supporting brokers and borrowers through a range of expert lending and financial services. With a strong track record of growth, the Group operates multiple specialist brands and is recognised for its industry expertise, innovation and customer-focused approach.
The Challenge
When Brightstar relocated its London office, the business identified the need to modernise and future-proof its telephony platform. With teams operating across multiple locations, it was essential to ensure continuity, flexibility and resilience - while protecting the organisation from potential downtime.
As remote and flexible working became increasingly important, Brightstar required a solution that would allow employees to stay connected wherever they were, without compromising oversight, call quality or productivity.
The Solution
A hosted telephony platform was implemented at Brightstar’s new London premises and then rolled out across the wider estate. This enabled calls to be transferred seamlessly between locations at no additional cost.
Dedicated internet connections were introduced at each site, alongside call data and recording facilities to support auditing and visibility. Mobile twinning applications were also deployed, allowing employees to work remotely while remaining fully connected to the core telephony system.
To further strengthen business resilience, disaster recovery procedures were put in place, ensuring calls could be re-routed to alternative offices or directly to individual mobile users in the event of any disruption.
The Result
Brightstar now benefits from a resilient, flexible telephony platform that supports both office-based and remote working, while protecting the business from downtime.
Productivity has increased significantly, with 100% of calls now covered by a remote, recorded and audited system, compared with pre-lockdown operations. The organisation is better equipped to maintain service continuity, adapt to change and support future growth.
